We wanted to come to Bulgaria to see for ourselves what the country had to offer. We chose PJVilla because of its central location and were attracted by what we read & saw on their website.
Transport was arranged for us when we booked and we have enjoyed the hospitality of Pete & Jane, which is of an extremely high standard. We have been introduced to local Bulgarians, dined with them and due to Pete’s enthusiastic approach to the Bulgarian way of life and language, enabled us to take part ourselves. Both Pete and Jane are excellent hosts and all food provided was of an extremely high standard too.

Our stay at PJVilla was one of the best holidays we have ever had. From the moment we stepped into the beautiful walled garden, we instantly relaxed.
The setting is peaceful and tranquil, with stunning views across to the Elena Balkan Mountain Range.
Pete & Jane are the perfect hosts. They have thought of everything and helped us with all aspects of our holiday. From recommendations of great places to eat, (that we would never have spotted ourselves) to making great suggestions about places to visit, to make the most of our time.
PJVilla provided us with a unique opportunity to experience real Bulgarian village life. Pete & Jane gave us a tour of the village & even arranged for a neighbour to cook her favourite Bulgarian specialities for us.
We were really surprised by the quality of the accommodation. It was far better than we ever expected from a Bulgarian guest house. The aircon provided welcome relief from the glorious sunshine during our stay and the room had many thoughtful touches, more expected from an exclusive hotel.
