PJVilla offers opportunities to fish in nearby lakes and rivers. Equipment & guide will be made available on request. Bulgarians eat most of the fish caught so you can catch your own supper and cook it back at PJVilla!

 

At Merdanya, only 3km from Dragijevo is the Art-Ceramics Pottery studio. Watch the pottery being made, fired & painted at this beautiful small family business. Have lunch or just a snack & browse in the pottery shop where prices are very reasonable.

Pete & Jane will happily give guests a guided tour of the village to meet some of the local characters. You could have a drink in one of the local krachmata (pubs) and maybe have lunch and a chat. Pete will help with the interpreting and the people will make you most welcome.

At Lyaskovets is one of the oldest wineries in Bulgaria and is only 3km away from PJVilla. Wine tasting can be arranged which can include  evening entertainment as well if guests wish. Quality wine at reasonable prices can be purchased.

Why not enjoy a leisurely ride in an authentic 100 year old Bulgarian horse drawn coach. You could just savour the delights of the local countryside, with its abundance of wildlife or take a trip to the local pottery or winery.
